Global crude steel production increases in January 2020 I Vietnam Coated Steel Mill

According to the World Steel Association (worldsteel), global crude steel production reached about 154 million tons in January 2020, an increase of 2% compared to the same period in 2019. During this period, China produced about 84 million tons of crude steel, up about 7% compared to last year.

India produced about 9 million tons, down 3% from 10 million tons in January 2019.

Moreover, Japan and South Korea produced 8 million tons and 6 million tons of crude steel, down 1% and 8% compared to last year.
